This malleable needle with special small hose end fitting is easily connnected to small bore tubing. The security stop allows for cannula recovery in case of mishap while the opening on back of bevel helps to prevent clogging.Close fitting stylet has matched point.

LUNDY IRVING CAUDAL NEEDLE

Used to introduce catheter. Has a large spool type female luer hub. Spinal point has edges dulled to prevent ureteral catheter damage. Close fitting stylet has matched point.

CRAWFORD EPIDURAL NEEDLE

The 19G can be used for single shot epidural anaesthesia. The 18G TW can be used with vinyl tubing for continuous epidural anaesthesia. Needles have large spool female luer hub and 40 degree very short bevel with bevel edges thoroughly rounded. Close fitting stylet has matched point. The Crawford Point (illustrated above and below) helps prevent puncture of the dura; the position of the bevel, in situ determines whether the catheter tubing will pass cephalad or caudad.

TUOHY NEEDLE

Thin wall needle with Needle Lock Hub and Fitted Stylet with matched bevelled point. They have deflected (HUBER) points with heel of bevel dulled to prevent tubing from being cut. Tubing may be directed into sub arachnoid or epidural space eiether cephelad or cauded.
