A security bead is affixed one eighth inch from the hub to help in withdrawal in case of accidental breakage. The regular bevel is ideal for infiltration anesthesia. The short bevel design provides optimum feel upon insertion into subcutaneous tissues, facia, ligaments and sheath surrounding the nerve bundle.
