jmcm8 : Endithelial Punch The outer shell of the trephine holds the recipient cornea by vacuum and the internal blade is rotated to take out the diseased button of cornea. The suction apparatus is resterilisable by dry heat, autoclaving or E.T.O. while the disposable cutting trephines are available in different sizes.
